Badminton & Racket Sports

Badminton and Racket Sports

The badminton and racket sports class focuses on the joy of racket sports. Badminton is our main game, but we might also practice squash, tennis, table tennis and alternative forms of racket sports. We will dive into the psychological, technical and tactical parts of the game and we emphasize an intense, motivating and fun practice.

Your motivation is the driving force and you will get more insights and a better experience of the different types of sports.

Focus is on technical and tactical training, but the practice also includes mental training. Every score point matters. The mental training evolves around questions like ‘why do I get nervous?’ and ‘How do I keep focus?’

We also discuss values like ‘what is fair play?’ and ‘How will this game be a good experience for all?’

It is not important whether you have tried the different types of sports before or not. We will challenge students on all levels.

We strive to go to watch a live match on a high level to experience some of the best players in Denmark or the world.

We work with basic coaching skills in all football disciplines. If you would like to have coaching certificates and delve into the Danish Football Union’s coaching training, then you must choose Football Coaching & Performance as a subject of competence.

In addition to badminton, it may also be that we try our hand at squash, short tennis, table tennis and other alternative forms of racket sports and bat games. We strive to get out and experience a match at a high level in one of the professional sports, so that you can experience some of Denmark’s or the world’s best players.
