Dance & Salsa

Dance & salsa

Since the 1970s, salsa has been a collective term for Caribbean dance and music, performed by Latin American immigrants in the United States. We work on our body awareness and explore the body’s movements and expressions while listening to music all the way from the 1970s and up to today’s salsa music. Exploring rhythm and hip rolls, the students are taken are given a taste of Latin America and get a musical, rhythmic and physical experience.

The salsa dance class requires no prerequisites and will generally increase your creativity and musicality. We think of salsa class as a playground providing space to improvise, experiment and connect with others and express yourself.

The three best things about salsa are the joy, the warmth and the passion. And then of course the good music.

GET CLOSE TO EACH OTHER

Dancing salsa is just great fun and a great way to socialize together. Salsa is also an easy and fun way to get in touch with each other.
