Since the 1970s, Salsa has been a collective term for Caribbean dance and music, performed by Latin American immigrants in the United States. Along the way, music from the 1970s up to today’s salsa music will be included. The students must work with their body awareness and explore the body’s movement paths and expression possibilities. With rhythm and hip rolls, the students are taken back to their Latin American roots and get a musical, rhythmic and bodily experience.
The dance requires no prerequisites and will generally increase your creativity and musicality. Salsa is a playground that provides space to improvise, experiment and connect with others and express yourself.
The three best things about salsa are the joy, the warmth and the passion. And then we must not forget the good music.
