FOOTBALL COACH & PERFORMANCE

Football Coach & Performance is tailored for you and your passion for football. The aim is to give you an insight into the different aspects of the world of football. We take a look at the different roles you can play when working with football; being a football coach, talent scout, football analyst or working with strategy and management in modern football clubs.

We will develop your coaching skills through parts of DBU’s C-coach course (The national Danish football association).
We delve into the tactical parts of modern football and gain a much better understanding of the game.
We look at practical coaching methods and exercises and try them out.

How to identify young talent and recruitment in the clubs.
Learn scouting techniques and data analysis.
Player assessment and analysis and how to build your own scouting profile.

Understanding of physical training and performance promotion.
Train your mental strength and sports psychology.
Learn how to prevent injuries and strengthen recovery.

Collect data and perform statistical analysis.
Understand the most important performance parameters and key figures.
Analyze players and teams using video footage.
How to do data analysis of football-relevant parameters – both technical and physical.

How to manage a club and its total finances.
Learn about the transfer market and contract negotiations.
How to handle sponsorships, marketing and revenue streams as a financial key person in a football club.

We collaborate with VB – Vejle Football Club, and you will learn about how the club is built, and also experience top youth football. And not least, you will learn about some of the jobs that exist in a football club.

We will meet interesting personalities during the stay, including coaches from the top shelf.

This class is primarily about the theoretical aspects of football. If you would like to play a lot yourself, you can combine this class with our other football classes.

I contribute with my experiences as a football coach

After my stay at Vejle Sports School, I began to work towards a career in the world of football. I can contribute with some of my experiences as a football coach, as a sports manager both in China and for Al Jazira in Dubai.

Now, I am happy to be part of FC Nordsjælland’s unique venture Right to Dream and my own company Optima Football, where I particularly enjoy all the strategic aspects and how to improve performance in football culture.

The best game in the world! I have played futsal in Buenos Aires and futevolei at Ipanema Beach in Rio. My experiences confirm to me that football is a universal language. I am already dreaming of the feints and dribbles I will trick you with. I have been playing football in the best league in Denmark and now I am instructing future coaches at the C-level of DBU the Danish Football Association.
