Wouldn’t it be great to be able to pull out the guitar and play when you’re a group of friends hanging out and some one them start humming a song? People will think it is awesome! Singing in a group can really build up a sense of togetherness and being able to play alongside is a major asset.
And then it’s just great to be able to play an instrument and create ear candy yourself. And who knows where it will end once your fingers start dancing up and down the strings?
Our focus is on quickly learning the basic open chords with examples of what they can be used for. We start with different “easy” songs in different musical genres. After this, we also introduce you to how to search and read chords/tabs yourself for you to practice by yourself or together with your friends on songs other than the ones provided. You will have your “own” guitar available during the entire course, which enables you to practice when it suits you. Maybe when you are a group singing in the lounge area, around the fire, in the music room or in your own room?
Maybe you’ve never tried playing a guitar before. Maybe you already know something, but would like to brush up your level a bit.
We often have a laugh together about how “bad” we are to begin with. Many of us are in the same boat, but little by little as we crack the code, we also celebrate as we progress at our own pace.
