Leadership (in Danish)

Leadership

Are you motivated to take responsibility and be part of something bigger and meaningful?

In the Leadership class you get the opportunity to develop your own leadership profile and test yourself. You will be trained to manage projects and processes, and learn what it is and how it feels to stand in front of people to establish leadership.

You can use your personal leadership competencies when you want to take responsibility for others – for example in a company or as a coach / leader in your local association.

You will get plenty of valuable tools in your backpack and you will experience that you and your friends can make things happen. You get to catalyze your own development and gain an insight into group dynamics.

We focus on leading ourselves and others. How do you set goals and a direction for yourself?

We will learn more about ourselves and how we react in different situations. You will learn about personal tools for appropriate reaction and action patterns.

You will be taught 6 ‘Leadership’ lessons a week. We work with project management and standing at the forefront. You will learn about coaching, communication and collaboration, idea development and goal setting, pedagogy and didactics as well as evaluation and learning about the democratic build-up of associations.

We might also test ourselves doing projects to develop our social and personal skills as a project manager. Hereby you gain organizational and managerial experience.

Oftentimes, the big light-bulb moments happen, when we evaluate our projects together afterwards. Maybe we should have communicated differently? Why did something go better than the other? What role do I play in the project collaboration and what are my strengths that I can practice further?

You learn to take leadership of development projects and well-being in the community.

How do you get ideas and make strategies? How can you present the ideas in practice and how do you follow up on them?

Whether you’re extroverted or introverted, whether you’re ahead of the curve or a little bit cautious and whether you’re used to standing in front or would rather avoid the limelight, there is be a place for you on the next team of Leadership.

Your personality type is not important. We welcome diversity, but your desire and willingness to work with your own personal goals and collaborate with others on a common project is decisive for whether your participation in the team will be a success.

We help develop the individual student

To me, it is important to help develop the individual student, from being the initiator of activities to being a project manager – it is an amazing process. We really get to delve into the concept of leadership and make projects succeed in practise.
