Sports & Society
Sport & society is about all areas where sport overlaps with money, power, politics and history. It can range from Saudi Arabia’s entry into the world of sports to the costs of holding major sporting events in Denmark or gambling addiction as a social problem.
The teacher on the subject is Jesper Banke, who is a journalist with a special interest in sports’ contact surfaces with the society that surrounds it.

Two of my greatest interests
I teach the class sports and society. The class combines two of my greatest interests. I am looking forward to discussing and analyzing the coverage of sports events with students from the sports journalism class and other students who share my interest with me.
