YOGA – HATHA, AERIAL & ACRO

Yoga is amazing for balancing body and mind.

This class will give you an introduction to the many facets of yoga and yoga philosophy. We will work with hatha yoga, aerial yoga and acro yoga:

  • Through hatha yoga we learn about the classic type of yoga, which all other yoga types comes from.
  • Aerial yoga is about exercising in a hammock above the floor to experience how gravity affects the body.
  • Through acro yoga we focus on cooperation and trust. Acro yoga is a combination of acrobatics and yoga where we work together two and two or more to create flow.

We will explore the world of yoga and experience elements from e.g. yin and yinyasa.

Through yoga we will challenge and strengthen your flexibility, balance and core muscles. We work with the balance between body and mind through exercises, breathing and presence.

Our classes are based on presence, trust and playfulness whether we challenge ourselves on the yoga mat, play with gravity in the hammock and when we use acrobatics as an approach to yoga.

Yoga is more than physical exercise. At Vejle Sports School we start with a physical approach to yoga and as the lessons evolve we go deeper into the mental part. Our approach is open and nonreligious. We use meditation as a tool to create balance in a life that sometimes can be stressful and hectic.

Our facilities are amazing for Yoga. The indoor yoga hall has a beautiful view to the forest and the school is surrounded by park and forest. When the weather is good we practice yoga outdoor. Sometimes we also use our outdoor pool for SUP Yoga.
