Livingstone is for everybody
Livingstone is an awesome city with lots of stuff to do. There is a cozy town life with friendly people and so many different things to try. To get the chance to go to Eventure afterwards really puts things in perspective.

The advantage of traveling as a group with friends is that you can relax more during the great experiences. That you feel more safe and secure during the entire journey, without being limited in terms of experiences.
We have extensive knowledge of the area and of the local surroundings and travel details. In addition, we benefit from our close partnership with the Danish/Zambian organisation of Eventure in northern Zambia, which will is also where a large part of the experience will take place.
You get really close to the local Africa, but you also get to try some of the attractive adventure activities. You might experience extreme rainfall during the rainy season and move through the bush. You will make friends with local young people as you will do different activities together. You will experience a part of Africa that is not characterized by tourism, and you will meet people who are genuinely interested in meeting you.

EXTEND YOUR STAY AS A VOLUNTEER OR RELAX ON THE ISLAND OF ZANZIBAR
You can extend your stay as a volunteer at Eventure Learning Community in northern Zambia, or you can stay a few extra days on the island of Zanzibar on your way home.
People are so friendly
People are really friendly and helpful. The locals will help you on your journey and it is always possible to get good guidance in different situations. That was really great.
EXTEND YOUR TRIP WITH A STAY AT EVENTURE
If you want to extend your stay at Eventure Learning Community, you must stay for at least 4 weeks. The learning community is located on the shore of Lake Tanganyika and there is nothing better than enjoying the view to the lake while looking forward to experiencing another day with the very welcoming Zambian staff, the happy students and the big smiling children.
Eventure is magical
Being a part of Eventure has been absolutely magical. Being allowed to experience a completely different culture so close and at the same time being allowed to contribute to the daily life of so many lovely young people has been a crazy experience and something I will never forget!
I learnt a lot by teaching
It was a huge experience to be get the chance to teach the Zambian students at Eventure. Getting involved in their lives and getting an idea of the students’ knowledge in order to communicate new knowledge was a great experience – as much as you try to teach the students – just as much you will learn yourself! It was really a huge experience.
New perspectives
I have spent 7 months at Eventure as a volunteer spread over three trips to Zambia. If you are hungry for adventure and have the courage to immerse yourself into a completely different corner of the world with a lot of nuances, you must go to Zambia. It will really put your own live in a whole new perspective. It is an educational journey and an adventure among fantastic zealots, in amazing surroundings, with beautiful young people and loving children with destinies markedly different from ours, but where joy is really prominent.
THE IMPORTANT DETAILS
The trip is an opportunity to extend your stay at Vejle Sports School from autumn into the spring.
The price is an expected price, but it is subject to changes in flight prices, tickets, etc. You will pay tre travel amount + 2 weeks of school stay 1.795 DKK for the trip.
The journey requires a group of 12-16 participants.
Please beware that you will need to pay further costs like travel insurance, vaccinations and visas.
If you extend your stay at Eventure, the weekly payment as a volunteer is around DKK 1,500 incl. board and lodging per week. It is paid directly to the Eventure Learning Community project.
