Subjects and Classes

We have sports classes, compentency classes, inspiration classes and common classes – and you are able to design your stay by combining your favourite classes.

When you register for a stay, you indicate your preferred sports classes and compentency classes. You choose your inspiration classes during the first days of school here. The inspiration classes will vary a bit from course to course.

You are free to mix and match your favourite classes according to your interests. However, if you do not speak Danish, be sure to choose  “International class” as a compentency class in your first period at our school.

Your stay is divided into periods. During the autumn course there is two periods. You will choose 2 sports classes, one competency class and an inspiration class in both periods. In total 4 different sports class , 2 competency classes and 2 inspiration classes.

During the spring course the sports classes are divided into 3 periods and 2 periods for the competency and inspiration classes. Therefore, you will choose 6 different sports classes, 2 competency classes and 2 inspiration classes.

You must choose 4-6 different sports subjects, 2 competency subjects and 2 inspiration subjects

Lots of different classes

To us, sports is one of the best ways of spending time together, and it is an icebreaker when getting to know new people and new cultures. We also believe that sports can be part of your personal development. However, discussions, creativity and general knowledge subjects are also an important part of the curriculum.

HOW DO YOU CHOOSE CLASSES?

When you register for a stay, you indicate your preferred classes. Hereby, we get an idea of how to allocate teachers, facilities and number of students tp each class.

A short time before starting school (and a short time into your stay) you will get the opportunity to prioritise your preferred classes.

You get the chance to ask questions to your teachers, if you have any doubts about which classes to choose.

We do our best for everybody to get their 1. priority of classes, but sometimes students end up with their 2nd or 3rd priority (rarely).
